Jet Daisuke Wins the Internets

Japan, despite its world renown at being on the bleeding edge of the technological horizon, has been spending the last decade catching up to the rest of the world online.

The country’s made great strides – especially where Internet connectivity and service is concerned but that said, Japan’s online community hasn’t really gotten past the “blog endlessly about your cat” phase of the Internet.

Progress is being made however on the video blogging front. Witness Jet Daisuke – DJ, connoisseur of beat-making gadgets, owner of numerous pairs of sunglasses and consummate video reviewer.

Jet Daisuke
Would you buy a ca from this man?

What does Jet Daisuke review? Well, he reviews… stuff. Lots of stuff – everything from Meiji LG 21 Yogurt to Korg’s DS-10 synth software for the Nintendo DS. Jet Daisuke is also my new favorite Youtube personality.

Korg should just hand this guy a briefcase full of yen as just about every video review he’s posted of a Korg product has made me want to run out to Guitar Center and buy it immediately.

Check out his channel on Youtube and for those in need of a review for an affordable, portable USB MIDI controller ( Tony! ), check out this video of him creating some travel music on his Macbook while taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka with Korg’s new nanoKEY controller:
