Glay Returns to the Southland - 2009

Last August, Glay, one of the biggest rock bands in Japan, made their first foray into the US market by playing a series of live shows in San Francisco and Hollywood CA [giant.enemycrab.net].
Glay - Too Cool for School
The band announced recently that they are making a return trip this year, playing the same venues they attended back in August of 2008 [myspace video].
Having seen Glay perform live at the House of Blues last year with Jojo, we both knew that by the end of the show that the band would be back to LA, probably within the following year.
We have tickets to see the band live again on Saturday, September 12th at the House of Blues in Hollywood. Glay put on an awesome show last year and we expect more of the same.
Even if you're not a fan of the band, if you're even marginally interested in Japanese music and happen to be in the Southland area for their 2 dates in LA, I highly recommend going. You will have the rare chance to see a band that normally sells out sport arenas play what amounts to a small club venue.
